Reservations
- All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- Room rates are subject to change without notice prior to purchase. Rates confirmed at booking will be honored.
- A deposit of 50% of the total room cost is required at the time of reservation to guarantee your booking.
Full payment for the reservation must be completed at least 14 days prior to arrival. - Cancelations made 14 or more days before arrival will receive a full refund of any deposits.
- Cancelations made less than 14 days but at least 7 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund of deposits.
- Cancelations made less than 7 days before arrival will not receive any refund.
- For group reservations of 10 or more rooms, different deposit, payment and cancellation policies may apply. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
Check-In/Check-Out
- Standard check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 12 noon.
- Early check-in and late check-out may be requested based on availability and are not guaranteed. Fees may apply.
- A valid photo ID and confirmation of final payment must be presented upon check-in. Acceptable forms of ID include passport, driver’s license or national identity card.
- All registered guests must be declared at check-in. Any unregistered guests found during a room inspection will be charged the applicable room rate plus taxes.
Payments
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and direct bank transfer for reservations. Cash payments are accepted on site.
- For bank transfers, detailed payment instructions will be provided following reservation. Bank transfers must include the reservation reference code provided.
- No refunds will be provided for early check-outs or cancellations made after the specified cancellation period.
Hotel Policies
- Noise must be kept to a minimum in all areas between 10pm and 7am daily. Excessive noise or disturbance to other guests may result in eviction without refund.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and indoor public spaces. Any evidence of smoking will result in a deep cleaning fee added to your room charge.
- Pets are not allowed on property without advance approval from management at the time of reservation.
The hotel reserves the right to charge for any damage, theft or excessive mess caused or made by guests during their stay.
Limitation of Liability
Tumaini Cottages and Conference Center cannot be held liable for any personal injuries, loss/damage of personal belongings or unforeseen circumstances that may impact a guest’s stay. We take all reasonable measures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction but make no guarantees thereof. Use of hotel facilities is at the guest’s own risk. Management does not accept liability for any losses not caused through its own negligence, omissions or defaults.
Updates to Terms & Conditions
The hotel reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The most recent terms will always be reflected on this website.
Hotel Rules and Regulations
We ask that guests abide by these Hotel Rules and Regulations to ensure that the hotel remains a public space and to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests (including daytime guests using rooms for teleworking, etc.; the same shall apply hereinafter). Guests who fail to abide by these rules may be refused further lodging or use of the hotel’s facilities. Such guests may also be asked to pay for any damage caused to fixtures or equipment within the hotel.
